== Tech Notes ==

Due to the high current rates associated with brushless electric boats ProBoat recommends using batteries with an ability to discharge at a minimum of 25 amps (25C).

Lower quality batteries cannot maintain a high enough average voltage to keep the electronic speed control from entering the low voltage cutoff mode. This safety feature protects the batteries and esc from damage.
